FAQ
Your questions, answered!
WHAT DO I GET WITH MY PURCHASE?
You are buying a twelve month subscription to a 16 week eLearning course that includes 31 video lectures, reading assignments, and auto-graded quizzes and tests. Optional parent graded written exams are also available for download. The course is accessible on desktops or mobile devices, but requires an Internet connection.
WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?
Courses that have not been accessed can be refunded within 30 days of purchase. Courses that have been accessed cannot be refunded, exchanged or transferred for any reason. This policy is to protect content, because there are downloadable files within the course.

Try before you buy! Please check the Home Page for the first two weeks of video lectures, available free!
CAN WE RESET A QUIZ AND TAKE IT AGAIN?
Students may take the quizzes and tests multiple times. I suggest students be allowed to retake an assessment and receive one half credit for correct answers on ones they missed the first time. This is learning! Written exams are available to download; however, written exams must be graded by parents. If you suspect cheating, please use written exams for an accurate assessment of learning.
WHAT GRADE/AGE ARE THE COURSES DESIGNED?
All Great American Studies courses are designed for high school students (or older!) Controversial topics are addressed, especially in American National Government. I have no personal agenda and treat all topics respectfully.
DO YOU HAVE A SIBLING DISCOUNT?
No need for a sibling discount! If you have more than one student in the same household wishing to share the subscription, please complete this sibling subscription request form. You will need your original date of purchase, billing information, and name of course purchased to reactivate your subscription.

Accounts suspected of non-household sharing subscriptions will be notified and suspended indefinitely.
WHAT MATERIALS ARE REQUIRED?
Students must have Internet access from a computer or mobile device. Required reading assignments for Early American History and Late American History are from the textbook A Patriot's History of the United States: From Columbus's Great Discovery to America's Age of Entitlement by Larry Schweikart and Michael Allen (2014) and is not included with the course subscription. Required reading assignments for American National Government are included with the course subscription and can be viewed online or printed, if you prefer.
ARE THESE COURSES CHRISTIAN OR SECULAR?
All courses at Great American Studies are academic. My heart is to teach truth in political science and history; I make no attempts to either proselytize nor secularize. Please check out the first two weeks of lectures, here!
WHAT WEB BROWSER DO YOU RECOMMEND?
Safari or Google Chrome are best.
